Ever since Steven Alig was in junior high, he dreamed of having his own business. His entrepreneurial spirit and determination paid off as he announces the launch of Alig Technology Group www.aligtech.com, a company offering corporate Internet development, design and consulting services. After just a few months in business, Alig's clients include The Miami Dolphins, St. Joe and Expert Realty.
Prior to starting his own venture, Alig was a project manager with a prominent marketing services company in South Florida.
"I knew I needed to get my feet wet and work for other people before I could start my own business," said Alig. "After working as a Web designer and learning the technical and graphical scope of the Internet business, I transitioned into a clients' services role and built strong relationships."
Those relationships resulted in Alig's first clients.
"I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with extremely talented people and the invaluable expertise I have gained in the past I now funnel into my business in my own style," said Alig.
And Alig takes the company's style and positioning seriously by forming strategic relationships with his clients. Alig Technology Group first identifies a client's needs and then focuses on managing a client's expectations with a clear understanding of objectives, schedules and processes.
"Most of our clients are already Internet savvy, what they are really looking for are solutions. We will not start a project without understanding our client's objectives and mutually agreeing on how we will get from point "a" to point "b" in order to meet that objective," said Alig.
The talent behind Alig Technology Group needs to have certain qualifications beyond the obvious work skills. Passion, organization and an eye for detail are all characteristics shared by Alig's staff.
"Our clients hire us to achieve certain goals and also keep them organized," said Alig. "My team needs to be organized and detail-oriented not only for our clients' sake but also to maintain maximum productivity and efficiencies."
Although Alig Technology Group adds its name to a list of competing Internet shops, Alig is confident his company will continue to rise to the top as he differentiates his company by focusing on the client's needs and in return allowing the client to focus on running their business.
"Our Internet strategy for clients always accomplishes at least one of three things: it increases revenue, decreases costs or makes their job easier," said Alig, "We won't start on a project until this is identified."
